Boost Student Accountability with a Lesson-Tracker Ticket

Rosa Aida Hernandez, an educator in California, created a lesson ticket system to monitor students before they try an i-Ready lesson a second time if they did not pass a lesson on their first try. Students who pass on their first effort bring their ticket to Ms. Hernandez, she initials the ticket, and then she gives them a new ticket. Students who don't pass on their first attempt fill in their score, bring it to Ms. Hernandez, and then she reviews the skills necessary to help them better understand and pass on their second attempt. She places all the tickets in a container and draws a few winners each week.
