Create a Class Chart to Tally Passed Lessons

Nicte Lara, a teacher, keeps two pieces of chart paper in the front of the room titled "i-Ready Math Lessons" and "i-Ready Reading Lessons." When students finish a lesson, they simply come up and put a tally mark on the chart. Nicte explained, "The kids love to see how many lessons they have completed as a class, and that works as a motivator. Sometimes I will even add an extra motivator, for example "If as a class we finish ___ lessons you get ________."
