Create an i-Ready Knowledge Metamorphosis Display

Jesenia Soto, a teacher in Florida, created an i-Ready Knowledge Metamorphosis Display in her classroom. She explains, "Here is what you need: Reading and Math i-Ready scores and typical office supplies you use to hang posters in your classroom. I just used paper and markers. First, I took the student's first and last Diagnostic scale scores* and subtracted the last from the first to get their individual growth. I put their name on one side and their score on the other. We had data chats before I made this display so they know their own scores. I didn't want any student to feel like they didn't do enough because everyone made growth! You can do this after each Diagnostic or just at the end of the school year. I used green and blue because that is how I color code subjects in my class."
*Note: Starting in 2018, educators should use percent toward growth goal rather than scale scores for this display.
