Each week, educators at KIPP DC give the homeroom with the highest i-Ready reading instruction time on task a stuffed dinosaur fondly named iRexy. Students feel a deep sense of pride when they earn iRexy, and it motivates the entire class to work hard on lessons, and motivates teachers to continually check data!
