Plan Unique Celebrations Based on Students’ Interests
A student takes the interest survey.
Blakely Fore, a teacher at Popp's Ferry Elementary, uses a survey to get to know her students at the beginning of the year. Throughout the year, she refers back to the survey to support her students. This helps her select texts for in-class lessons and homework, increase student engagement, and build relationships with students. When planning i-Ready celebrations for lessons passed and Diagnostic growth, Blakely uses the survey to guide her celebrations. Her student engagement is through the roof because students are invested and know she truly cares about them!
