Jordan Palermo Maltezos, a third grade instructor for Hillsborough Virtual K–12 in Florida, shared her school's idea for discussing i-Ready data in a virtual setting. After wrapping up i-Ready assessments, the school scheduled a "Winter Chat and Chew" with each student to discuss their data. Students signed up for 10-minute "chat and chew" data chats online and were encouraged to bring a snack to enjoy while discussing their data. This fun twist on data chats can be implemented both virtually and in person depending on your school's learning setting.
