Set Expectations about Learning Games

A third grade teacher in Florida sets expectations around when to play Learning Games during i-Ready time. She explains, “After students complete 45 minutes of Online Instruction in both Ready and Math during the week, they play Learning Games. I circulate the classroom during i-Ready time to remind students of the expectation and check-in with students about progress in both online lessons and Learning Games. Setting clear goals, monitoring progress, and actively checking in with students ensures we're all on the same page. Students know both i-Ready and Learning Game goals, and love monitoring their own progress!"
