Melissa Yglesias, an educator in Florida, shares the i-Ready Student Profile report with the parents and guardians of her students to increase their understanding of their student’s progress in i-Ready. In her blog post “7 Tips to Effectively Implement i-Ready” Ms. Yglesias says, “In order for any program to be effective, your parents have to buy into what you're doing. They need to understand that i-Ready is tailor made for their child... It's like free tutoring!” Ms. Yglesias recommends printing the student Diagnostic Results report and sharing the data during in-person parent meetings. The report makes it easy to explain student strengths and weaknesses to parents.
