Support Families Remotely with These Tips and Tools

You know that collaborating with students’ families is important. This is even more critical now, especially if students find themselves learning at home.

These three guiding principles may be helpful when collaborating with families in remote settings:

  1. Maintain open and transparent communication with families.
  2. Ensure families understand what i-Ready Personalized Instruction is and how they can support their students from home.
  3. Consistently share updates about student learning, the progress they’re making, and where more support may be needed.

Use the tips and tools in this kit for more ideas on how to engage families remotely to partner with families during remote teaching and learning.
