Track Student Lesson Progress with a Virtual i-Ready Lesson Tracking Wall
Lauren Campbell, a second grade teacher at Bessemer City Primary in North Carolina, shared her idea for a virtual lesson tracking wall. Lauren explained, “I wanted a way to show my kids their success of i-Ready without them having to ask me. My school celebrated every 10 lessons passed with an 80%+ pass rate, and my students would constantly ask me how many more they needed. This way, they could be responsible for their learning time on i-Ready, and they could pass those lessons. This year, since I am virtual, I was upset that I couldn't use my wall. But I created a virtual option to post in my LMS [learning management system] through Google Slides™ that kids can see at home.”
Consider using a tracking wall to track the number of weekly completed lessons in Reading and/or Math. Each week, move the student cards along the tracking wall, in person or virtually, so students can see their progress for that week.
Google Slides™ is a distinctive brand feature of Google, Inc.
