Sari Laberis, an education consultant, visited a school that was using the i-Ready bar graph goal gauges. This classwide tracker was used after the second Diagnostic to track Median Percent Progress toward Typical Growth. After the first Diagnostic, teachers presented the graph to explain goals to students. After the second Diagnostics, teachers filled in bars on the graph to show Median Percent Progress toward Typical Growth using the class Diagnostic Growth report. Teachers also had students cut out stars, write their names on them, and place them on the graph when they meet individual goals.
