Carolyn Gray, a second grade teacher in Florida, uses i-Ready certificates of progress to celebrate growth. After the second Diagnostic, Carolyn filled out the certificates with student data and took photos of students proudly displaying their growth. This was a great way to show students how they progress toward their growth measures. Students have individualized goals, so celebrating their progress to their growth goals gives meaning to the data and helps students see their own growth. Students brought the certificates home so their families could see their progress as well.
