Have Students Take Notes During Online Instruction

Sari Laberis, an educational consultant, visited West Riviera Elementary in West Palm Beach, Florida. Students in a kindergarten classroom were taking notes while engaging in i-Ready Online Instruction. They each had an i-Ready journal, in which they were writing questions, answers, and supporting details. The teacher explained to Sari that taking notes helps ensure students are going back to the text to find the answers to the questions. Students were excited to capture notes to support their thinking!
